Kia ora, Out of Home community!

It’s been a huge start to 2025 for Out of Home, and we’ve got plenty to celebrate this month.

We’re thrilled to share that Q1 revenue has hit a record-breaking $49.4 million, marking the industry’s strongest first quarter yet. On top of that, we’ve just announced the Q1 winners of The Speccies, recognising the most creative, clever and effective campaigns lighting up Aotearoa’s Out of Home Landscape and launched a groundbreaking 24-month research study to move beyond perception to provide real, data-backed insights into how Out of Home delivers results at a category level.

In other big news, CAML (Calibre Audience Measurement Limited) has officially announced the imminent launch of New Zealand’s first unified Out of Home audience measurement system, a major milestone for our industry.

We’re also shining a spotlight on oOh!media’s great initiative to support Māori businesses, launching a new grant aimed at boosting visibility and commercial success across Aotearoa.

Phil Eastwood, GM of JCDecaux, shares his view on how factors like messaging, branding, and emotional impact influence campaign success and how brands can not just be noticed, but be remembered, and drive real commercial results.
