JCDecaux becomes Aotearoa’s first Out of Home RE100 member

JCDecaux is proud to be the first Out of Home company in Aotearoa to become a member of RE100 – a global initiative bringing together businesses committed to 100% renewable energy.  JCDecaux New Zealand is committed across their business to this; in addition, they are days away (early may) from formal carbon neutral accreditation applying to all aspects of their business, offices and all advertising displays across Aotearoa.  Adding to their programme of eco-friendly billboard skins and fitting low emission LED lighting on all classic Large Format locations.

JCDecaux New Zealand has launched a PVC free material for all Large Format 6x3 and 12x3 sites as part of their commitment to a more sustainable future.  The material is made from a polyester base fabric with a polypropylene coating, resulting in a lighter material that reduces our landfill contribution and enables safe and easier installation.

JCDecaux encourages clients and advertisers to join them on their quest for a more sustainable industry by asking for PVC free materials for all classic campaigns.
