oOh!media and Stoneleigh bring mini greenhouse to the streets of Wellington

oOh!media has created a special build for alcohol brand Stoneleigh – a fully enclosed lightbox, posing as a mini greenhouse in Oriental Parade, Wellington.

oOh!’s in-house creative team; oOh! Studio, was tasked by Initiative Sydney to find a unique way to showcase winemaker Stoneleigh’s connection with sustainability whilst generating mass reach and talkability. With the campaign objective in mind, the team crafted up a plan to retrofit a lightbox that could hold live native New Zealand plants, soil, and river stones, whilst showcasing three bottles of Stoneleigh wine in the lightbox too.

The mini greenhouse lightbox heroes Stoneleigh’s sustainability credentials. Stoneleigh, which is made from 100 percent sustainably sourced grapes, has over 30 hectares of land dedicated to biodiversity projects and over 10,000 plants planted in regenerative land.

Ben Gibb, oOh!media’s Head of Sales says: “This unique special build has once again showcased the capabilities of our Studio team to bring to life a brand’s story in creative and tangible ways. Being able to make this build happen is particularly exciting for us as a business, as Stoneleigh’s commitment to the environment aligns with oOh!’s own ongoing focus on sustainability.”

Stoneleigh Head of Wine Emma Baldwin adds: “Sustainability is a fundamental focus point at Stoneleigh, so to have this build brought to life with oOh! Studio, who share the same key pillars of sustainability has been a great opportunity.”

April Suen, Initiative Sydney Investment and Partnerships Manager comments: “It was great to see this idea being brought to life through an innovative and exciting way. Despite not having a person on the ground in New Zealand, the oOh! team made the build a seamless process.”

The special build will be live at Oriental Parade until November 8.
