Out of Home Never Looked So Good - October
Our monthly celebration of bold creatives and clients from Aotearoa and around the world who have embraced and amplified the power of Out of Home through their attention-demanding campaigns.
We had another month where we were spoilt for choice by the amount of brilliant creative coming out of Aotearoa, so please enjoy the examples we’ve chosen locally and internationally who we felt best used Out of Home static and digital formats to deliver some genuinely eye-catching campaigns.
We would love to see your genius at work; send us your campaign.

Australia: In the recent Rugby World Cup quarter-final, New Zealand’s All Blacks were going up against Ireland - a country synonymous with an all-black beer…the team at Thinkerbell couldn’t help themselves and the result was this beautiful, tongue-in-cheek ad.
The ad plays on Guinness’ 263-year history of brewing dark beer and leverages its ties with rugby. The creative ran across Out of Home in the lead-up to the Rugby World Cup quarter-finals.

WORLD MENOPAUSE DAY
Aotearoa: On a mission to make menopause a stage that everyone knows about, two Gen X campaigners have taken a series of Out of Home ads to the streets via Lock Docks and oOoh!media NZ in time for World Menopause Day on October 18, 2023.
Not wanting to wait the two to four years that it may have taken to get a publicly funded campaign up and running, Menopause advocate Sarah Connor partnered with brand strategist and creative Helen Milner to launch their own campaign that draws attention to this often very disruptive life change that approx 50% of the world population goes through at some stage in their lives.

STEINLAGER
Aotearoa: As the nation got behind the All Blacks for the final on Sunday, Steinlager, an official All Blacks partner, has launched its 'Unconditional' campaign - this campaign shines a light on fans who have stood the test of time and showcases their unwavering support for our national team in unique ways. Sadly the result of the game wasn’t as good as this creative.
