Out of Home Never Looked So Good - May

Each month, we celebrate the bold creatives and clients from Aotearoa and around the world who have embraced and amplified the potential of Out of Home advertising through their attention-grabbing campaigns.

We hope you'll find inspiration in the examples we've handpicked, both locally and internationally, demonstrating how classic and digital Out of Home formats have been ingeniously utilised to deliver truly captivating campaigns. Perhaps one of these will ignite your next brilliant creative idea.

We're excited to see your creativity in action. Feel free to share your campaign with us or directly enter it into our OOHMAA Awards - The Speccies - Q2 entries open on 17th June 2024.

AUCKLAND COUNCIL

Aotearoa:  Auckland Council used the capabilities of Programmatic Out of Home to activate their Rubbish Fires campaign in a contextually relevant and impactful way by only bidding on screens the night before/morning of each suburb’s rubbish day. By doing this, AC ensured they were speaking to audiences when putting the rubbish out was front of mind, to remind our communities to check before they chuck electrical items, and keep them out of their rubbish or recycling bins, as these can catch fire. This approach clearly stands out as a great way to maximise efficiency and effectiveness in OOH activation and reduce potential budget wastage. Equally, Auckland Council made great use of oOh!’s unrivalled reach and coverage. With a vast network of over 150 programmatically enabled Street Furniture screens across wider Auckland, the client ensured their message remained contextually relevant across nearly 60 unique suburbs.
