OOHMAA announces new board as industry collaboration deepens

The Out of Home Media Association of Aotearoa (OOHMAA) has announced a new board line-up, bringing together leaders from across New Zealand’s Out of Home sector at a time of increasing industry alignment and momentum.

The newly appointed board includes returning members Kelly Harvey (oOh!media), Phil Eastwood (JCDecaux) and Brad Morgan (QMS), alongside new appointments Frank Costello (GO Media), Phil Clemas (LUMO) and Rob Forsyth (VMO). Forsyth will also take on the role of Board Secretary.

Independent Chair Paul Maher said the appointments signal both the momentum of the category and the direction the industry is heading.

“The addition of Frank, Phil and Rob alongside Kelly, Phil and Brad brings together deep experience from across the sector at an important time for the industry,” said Maher.

“Having leaders of this calibre helping guide the next chapter of OOHMAA is incredibly important as Out of Home continues to evolve and strengthen as a channel.

“The launch of knOOH has been an important step forward for the sector, giving agencies and advertisers greater insight into how Out of Home is performing. There’s a strong sense of alignment across the industry right now and that collective approach will be important as the category continues to evolve.”

Maher also acknowledged the contribution of outgoing board members Mike Gray, Jack Plowright and Alf Jamison.

“Mike, Jack and Alf have all made a significant contribution to the industry and to OOHMAA over a number of years. Their work has helped shape the momentum and progress the sector is experiencing today.”
