oOh!’s releases its study on How Kiwis Move
oOh!media recently conducted a study to explore the attitudes, behaviours and mindsets of Kiwis and how changes to our work and personal lives have been altered since COVID. The research leveraged a variety of experts to look at the trends that will influence mobility in the future.
Some incredible and insightful statistics have come from the study, diving into future trends across demography, transport, and urban design to unpack the impact this will have on society and, ultimately, Out of Home advertising.
Demographic trigger points such as, by 2025, there will be more over 65s than under 15s. This will be the first time New Zealand will see such statistics in history. Increasing migration, more diverse cities will work to change the way society looks, thinks, and moves.
By 2025, 42% of Aucklanders will have been born overseas, and many are first-generation descendants of migrants; migration plays a significant role in shaping our society's demographics.
