Aotearoa: A super fun way to celebrate Spring is Bunnings’ new campaign! In the D.I.Y. spirit, PHD Aotearoa and oOh! Studio teamed up to create a Special Build shelter stocked with seed packets for people to take home and start their spring gardening.

The Collective

Aotearoa: JCDecaux’s iconic Karangahape Road corner in Auckland features yet another special build concept, this time for he Collective smoothie bowls. The Collective is known for shaking up the yoghurt category and welcoming disruptive creative opportunities to promote the brand and product. It cleverly uses these corner panels to extend its messaging and showcase the convenience of these delicious, easy-to-eat, on-the-go snacks.

KFC

Aotearoa: MediaWorks, PHD and Stanley Street have teamed up to deliver New Zealand’s first commercial full-motion 3DOOH billboards for KFC.

The eye-catching promotion sees the instantly recognisable colonel hand a bucket of chicken through a drive-through window. The bucket then takes on a life of its own, flying around the screen. The anamorphic creative will be whetting appetites for the secret recipe chicken that Kiwis know and love on MediaWorks billboard locations at Wellington Airport and Newmarket Atrium.

ASB

Aotearoa: ASB, an official sponsor of the All Blacks, has launched this dynamic campaign, run through D4. Headlines are updated dynamically based on the game score or upcoming games. ASB shows how large, commanding Out of Home can engage a nation in the conversation between games.

Ranger Rover - Defender

Aotearoa: Breaking with the traditional car ads, which involve a shot of a car with a headline is this brilliant campaign from Defender, a worldwide partner of Rugby World Cup France 2023, shows faces from the video campaign that embraces diversity in rugby. It celebrates amateur players who embrace the impossible and overcome disabilities to tackle discrimination and enjoy the game.

The faces in the creative currently are Ryuichi Nagayama, the oldest active member of the Fukawa Rugby Club at 90 years of age and Jacob Pickering, a rugby player born without a left arm (yes, he still loves playing!)

Voices of Hope

Aotearoa: oOh!media New Zealand and Voices of Hope have come together once again to recognise Mental Health Awareness Week 2023 (18th – 24th September) by displaying a thought-provoking message every day of the week across the oOh! network.

McDonald’s

UK: As Britain experienced an unexpected heatwave, the team at Leo Burnett UK and McDonald’s UK decided to meet this cultural moment in record time by showing how it only takes a single drip to remind everyone how delicious their iconic Milkshakes are.

A brilliant example of a company that is now reaping the rewards of years dedicated to Brand Coding.
